The Kremlin Assessed the Rate of Vaccination Against Coronavirus in Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin is dissatisfied with the pace of vaccination against coronavirus, it leaves much to be desired.
"We probably should all be unhappy with the pace of vaccination. They leave much to be desired. You know that the president constantly uses every opportunity to urge all of us who should be vaccinated to take the necessary measures immediately," Peskov replied to the question of journalists about whether the Kremlin is satisfied with the pace of vaccination of Russians against coronavirus.
He noted that vaccination against COVID-19 should remain voluntary, it is a matter of the consciousness and rationality of citizens.
Peskov said: "Vaccination is voluntary, it is a matter of absolute consciousness and rationality of all of us. It's just that each of us must understand that vaccination against the background of this unprecedented coronavirus threat is the only protection. It is not a panacea, but it is the only protection. There is no other protection against coronavirus."
The Kremlin also considers it appropriate to talk about measures to stimulate vaccination against coronavirus, since a vaccine is the only way to deal with an unprecedented threat, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters. Any measures that will contribute to the vaccination process will be good, according to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.
