OREANDA-NEWS Russia will do everything necessary to ensure its security. This opinion was expressed by the press secretary of the president Dmitry Peskov, whose words are quoted by TASS.

This is how he commented on the statements of the German intelligence chief Bruno Kalia, who said that Moscow would allegedly be ready to attack NATO on the horizon of ten years. According to Peskov, the Russian Armed Forces have the necessary potential, but they do not threaten anyone, unlike the North Atlantic Alliance.

"Russia ensures its own security. And Russia is doing everything necessary for this and has all the necessary potential for this," the Kremlin spokesman said, stressing that Russia's military infrastructure has never been directed towards NATO.
