The Kremlin Appreciated the Measures to Support the Country’s Economy
OREANDA-NEWS. The Kremlin positively evaluates the measures taken in the Russian Federation to combat the crisis caused by the coronavirus.
The Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov claimed that the measures taken in Russia to combat the pandemic crisis were "timely, effective, carefully calibrated and they ensured minimization of the consequences of the global crisis as much as possible."
In such way the Press Secretary commented the statement of the head of the Accounts Chamber, Alexei Kudrin. According to his view, the government of the country could spend more money to support the people, and they could have taken additional resources from the National Welfare Fund.
But in Dmitry Peskov’s view the situation in Russia is better, and rising unemployment in the country if not as fast as in America and many European states and it speaks to the quality of the measures taken.
Some time earlier Mikhail Mishustin, Russian Prime-Minister, marked that the country’s economy will be rising steadily by the end of 2021. According to his prediction the annual growth rate will be not less than 3 percent in the future. He added next year the government are going to work on restoration of employment and population's income.
