OREANDA-NEWS Almost 5 thousand participants and 931 speakers have already registered for the international forum Kazan Digital Week (KDW), which will be held in Kazan on September 9-11, taking into account the online format, the organizers expect 25 thousand people at the forum, Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of Tatarstan Airat Khairullin said.

"This year, Kazan Digital Week will be held for three days – September 9-11… At the moment, we have 931 speakers registered, about 5 thousand participants, we predict the expected number of forum participants with a slight increase by last year – about 25 thousand, these are those who will come to the site and those who will participate online," Khairullin told reporters.

According to the Minister, the geography of the forum participants is wide, among the registered 112 representatives of foreign countries – Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, China, India, Malaysia, Armenia, Austria, Argentina and others.

Khairullin said that 85 different events will be held within the framework of the KDW business program: sections, round tables, discussions, master classes. Regional ministers from the subjects of the Russian Federation are expected. For the first time this year, special cybersecurity training is planned for heads of regional digital development agencies. The forum traditionally covers 10 main topics – from digital technologies in education, healthcare to the fintech ecosystem, and cybersecurity.

The exhibition area of the current forum is twice as large as in previous years. 141 stands will be presented on 4 thousand square meters, and an outdoor playground will be organized. 16 companies will offer jobs at a specially organized job fair.

Kazan Digital Week is an annual platform for communication between developers and users of digital intelligent technologies, systems, services and services created on their basis. The mission of the forum is to facilitate the exchange of scientific and technical information, consolidate scientific and technological assets capable of effectively solving the problems of import substitution and import conservation, ensure technological sovereignty and data sovereignty as the basis of the leadership of the Russian Federation in international cooperation.
