OREANDA-NEWS Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin exchanged New Year's greetings, according to a statement on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

According to the agency, Li Qiang and Mishustin exchanged congratulatory telegrams on Tuesday.

"China is ready to work with Russia, guided by the important agreements reached by the two heads of state, to promote Sino-Russian relations and cooperation in various fields to a new level," Li Qiang said.

According to the agency, Mishustin, in turn, noted that the Russian side intends to continue constructive cooperation with China based on a high level of mutual trust, and expressed confidence that the agreements reached would contribute to bringing bilateral cooperation to a higher level.
