OREANDA-NEWS. The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that the weapons supplied by the United States to Ukraine could fall into the hands of the Russian army as “trophies”. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“I have no doubt that a significant part of the weapons that Kyiv is stuffed with will eventually end up in the hands of our liberators as trophies,” Aksyonov said.

According to the head of the Russian republic, in the future it is not excluded that the Russian military will use the weapons sent to Kyiv.

“Today, the United States, in the language of American politicians themselves, is on the wrong side of history. How it ends, they could find out simply by studying the biographies of the idols of modern Ukrainian statehood - from Mazepa and Petliura to Bandera and Shukhevych, ”added Aksyonov.

At the same time, Aksyonov admitted that the US congressmen do not know both history and geography.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the supply of Western weapons to Kyiv an infernal carousel.

“Of course, both business and such a hellish merry-go-round, and among other things, the main goal is to destabilize the region, and ... the continuation of the acute phase of the conflict, which leads to more and more deaths,” she said.

According to her, the West must understand that this is what leads to the continuation of the death of people in Ukraine.
