OREANDA-NEWS  The guilt of Uzbek citizen Akhmad Kurbanov, accused of committing a terrorist attack against the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection Forces (RCBZ), Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, was confirmed by the testimony of witnesses and victims. This was reported by TASS with reference to the materials of the criminal case.

"The sufficiency of data on the events of the crime and on the involvement of Kurbonov A.A. is confirmed by the testimony of victims and witnesses, inspections of the scene, objects and documents, and other evidence in the criminal case in aggregate," the document says.

The arrest of the perpetrator of the terrorist attack became known on the morning of December 18. Kurbanov said that he was recruited by the special services of Ukraine. On their instructions, he arrived in Moscow, received a high-power improvised explosive device, placed it on an electric scooter and parked the vehicle near the entrance of the house where Kirillov lived. For the crime, he was promised 100 thousand dollars and accommodation in the territory of the European Union.

Later, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested the defendant for two months.
