OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government will allocate 4 billion rubles for the purchase of agricultural machinery for leasing to farmers, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

Mishustin, during a meeting with the deputy prime ministers, noted the importance of the cabinet's work to provide Russian agricultural producers with machinery.

"The government is carrying out such work, paying special attention to maintaining preferential programs for the provision of tractors, combines, sowing complexes and much more for the needs of the agricultural industry. In particular, we are creating conditions for obtaining such machines through Rosagroleasing. Over four billion rubles have been allocated to supply them to agricultural producers this year," Mishustin said, adding that the relevant orders have been signed.
