The physical volume of transactions with gold on the Moscow Stock Exchange in January-June fell by 62.8% compared to the same period last year — to 9.81 tons, for silver – increased by 12.2%, to 24.5 tons, according to the trading platform.

In monetary terms, transactions with gold and silver totaling 44 billion rubles were concluded on the Moscow Exchange in January-June 2022, compared to 116.2 billion rubles in January-June 2021.

In June alone, the trading volume amounted to 2.7 tons of gold (by 8.5 billion rubles) and 2.6 tons of silver (by 100 million rubles).
