OREANDA-NEWS On September 1, a kindergarten for 220 children will be opened in Kazan, which will be the first Russian preschool institution with an elevator. This was reported by the portal of the city hall of the capital of Tatarstan. 

The kindergarten is being erected in the residential complex “Volga open spaces” on Rauis Gareev street. Its construction began in 2018 as part of the national project "Demography", 201 million rubles were allocated for this. 

Preschool institution will be able to attend children from one and a half years. Nursery groups will be located on the ground floor. Each group will have its own bedroom, hygiene room, pantry and dressing room. On the second floor there will be rooms for six groups of middle-aged children, music and sports halls. Kindergarten will be equipped with an elevator.
