OREANDA-NEWS  The first rehearsal of the Main Naval Parade took place on Friday in the Neva River in St. Petersburg. About 15 ships and boats marched in parade formation along the fairway of the main sea artery of the city as part of tactical groups, a TASS correspondent reports.

During the training, compliance with the necessary distance between the ships was worked out, as well as maintaining a set speed to keep the ships on a given course when following them along the Neva fairway from Blagoveshchensk to Trinity Bridges.

As previously reported by TASS, in order to prepare for the parade, which will take place on July 30, the schedule of the bridges will be changed and restrictions on the movement of vehicles will be introduced. On the night of July 13-14 and from July 15-16, the wiring of the Foundry, Trinity, Palace and Blagoveshchensk bridges will be extended until 06:00. The Foundry Bridge will be divorced from 01:40 to 06:00. Trinity Bridge - from 01:20 to 06:00.

In 2022, the Main Naval Parade took place on July 31 on the fairways in the Neva water area between the Blagoveshchensk and Trinity Bridges and on the fairways in the waters of the Great Kronstadt Raid along the southern protective wall of the port. It was attended by 36 ships and boats, 4 submarines, 7 sailing vessels, 42 aircraft, as well as more than 3.5 thousand military personnel. The parade has already become the central action of the main naval holiday of the country.
