OREANDA-NEWS  The plan of war with Russia published in Germany was called manipulation against the background of the decline in the popularity of the German authorities. This was stated by Senator Konstantin Kosachev in Telegram.

Earlier, the German newspaper Bild reported that the Bundeswehr considers a possible war between Russia and NATO in 2025.

According to Kosachev, the appearance of such a publication against the background of the declining popularity of the German authorities is not accidental. The senator believes that in this way the politicians decided to play on the feelings of the German philistine, who "especially trusts professionals and people in uniform."

The purpose of this is to force the Germans to increase their support for Ukraine, Kosachev continued. "In this case, the German is led to think: It is better for Ukrainians to die today than Germans tomorrow," he explained.

The need to resort to such "drains" is caused by the loss of public confidence in the authorities, the member of the Federation Council stressed. "Russia did not collapse, and there was no "plan B". And all that remains is to scare your own people so that others are afraid," Kosachev concluded.

Earlier, Kosachev announced the hopeless situation of the West because of Ukraine. By deliberately dragging its allies into an open conflict with Russia, Kiev has deprived them of freedom of maneuver, he explained.
