OREANDA-NEWS  The drug market in Russia has become more transparent, it is protected from counterfeit and counterfeit products, said Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko.

"The market of medicines in the Russian Federation has become more transparent, protected from counterfeiting and falsification. To increase the availability of medical care, additional temporary rules for registration and circulation of medical products have been developed," Murashko said in his greeting to the participants of the All-Russian conference "Pharmaceutical Treatment 2024".

The Minister noted that today more than 550 pharmaceutical industries are working for the benefit of the country. In 2023, 6 billion packages of medicines were released into civilian circulation, of which 70% were of domestic production. More than 80% of the drugs from the list of vital and essential medicines are also produced in Russia, Murashko stressed.
