OREANDA-NEWS The Donetsk People's Republic is participating in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) this year, the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said.

"The Donetsk People's Republic participates in the WEF. The delegation is headed by the Prime Minister, and the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services and the Ministry of Economic Development are also involved. As a rule, at the forum site we have the opportunity to get acquainted, establish some useful and necessary connections with other regions and countries," he said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Pushilin noted that thanks to useful acquaintances at the WEF-2024, it is possible to attract additional investments to the region, which will be able to help in the restoration of the DPR.

The Eastern Economic Forum is taking place on September 3-6 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. RIA Novosti is the general information partner of WEF-2024.
