OREANDA-NEWS The development of the Peacock communications camouflage complex has been completed, the tests of which are coming to an end. This is reported by Izvestia with reference to the CEO of Technoreform, Sergey Musatov.

The complex is necessary for remote control of communication facilities, allowing military personnel to be at a distance from receiving and transmitting devices, which, in the case of direction finding of the radio station, an enemy strike is not excluded. The development of the Peacock, prototypes of which have been tested by Russian fighters, started in 2023.

"The feedback is very good, because with the increase in radio masking, headquarters locations, decision—making centers and just temporary clusters of soldiers and officers have become less exposed to rocket and artillery attacks," the CEO said.

Earlier, a representative of the defense company in the call sign Cascade told RIA Novosti that tests of a new satellite communications complex had begun in the zone of a special military operation. The test station occupies half of the backpack, the rest of it falls on peripheral equipment.
