OREANDA-NEWS  The Sukhoi Superjet 100, which crashed near Kolomna after major repairs, has been in operation since 2014, the developer and manufacturer will assist in the investigation of the accident, the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation reported.

"An aviation incident occurred with an aircraft in service with the airline, released in 2014. The plane was carrying out a transfer flight to the airport without passengers on board, the message says. - The specialists of the developer and manufacturer will provide all necessary assistance in the investigation of the accident."

The UAC added that an experienced Superjet with import-substituted systems (the so-called NEW modification) is being tested in Zhukovsky and has just successfully landed at Ramenskoye airfield after a test flight. Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade drew attention to this.

According to the prosecutor's office, the plane belonged to GazpromAvia.

There were three crew members on board. They died.
