The deputy head of the Minsk Region, accused of bribery, Parshin, was dismissed at his request

OREANDA-NEWS Deputy Head of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Maxim Parshin was relieved of his post, the corresponding order was signed on July 18 by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
As stated in the document, Parshin was dismissed at his request.
He has served as deputy head of the Ministry of Finance since May 2018.
Parshin was detained by the investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia on July 13. On the same day, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sent him under house arrest. Parshin, according to the court, was charged with receiving a particularly large bribe (part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The investigation petitioned for Parshin's detention. According to the Kommersant newspaper, he was detained red-handed.
In the Ministry of Finance, Parshin was responsible for the development of information technologies, the creation of favorable conditions for Russian IT companies, training for the digital economy, the formation and execution of the federal budget, revenue administration and the activities of subordinate organizations.
He also supervised the activities of the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics, the St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after Professor M.A. Bonch-Bruevich, the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, the Volga State University of Telecommunications and Informatics.
