The death toll due to terrorist attacks in Dagestan has increased to 20 people

OREANDA-NEWS The number of victims due to terrorist attacks in Makhachkala and Derbent increased to 46 people, 20 people died, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Dagestan reported on Monday.
"As a result of the terrorist act that took place yesterday in the republic in Makhachkala and Derbent, 46 people were injured, among whom there are both civilians and law enforcement officials. Unfortunately, 20 people were killed, among them there are also law enforcement officers and civilians," the message says, referring to the Minister of Health of the Republic Tatyana Belyaeva.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of an attack last Sunday by armed militants on a synagogue and a church in Derbent, as well as on a church and a traffic police post in Makhachkala, 15 law enforcement officers and four civilians were killed.
Six militants were eliminated.
Criminal cases have been initiated under paragraph "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act), part 4 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of firearms), paragraphs "a", "b" of Part 4 of Article 226 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft of firearms).
Mourning has been declared in the republic from 24 to 26 June.
