OREANDA-NEWS Residents of the Moscow and Vladimir regions, as well as the Krasnodar Territory, complain about the spread of the Coxsackie virus in local kindergartens and schools. This is reported by SHOT.
Parents are concerned that the infection could have been brought by tourists returning from Turkey.
A resident of Vladimir said that one child with this virus was brought to the kindergarten group where her child goes. Then all the children began to get sick in turn, a total of 20 babies were infected. Many people first had ulcers in their mouth, then a rash on their body. According to the parents, they were told at the hospital that it was Coxsackie, but they wrote ARVI in the certificate.
Residents of the Krasnodar Territory said that at least one student was diagnosed with Coxsackie in the hospital. Many children under the age of 11 have blisters on their feet and hands, and fever. At the same time, the disease is carried in a mild form.
Three children with a characteristic rash and high fever are known in Moscow. The mother of one child said that the baby had a temperature of 39.1, a small rash on his palms, and an inflamed throat.
On November 2, the Telegram channel SHOT reported that a massive outbreak of an unknown virus had occurred on the coast of Belek (Antalya province). According to the channel, several dozen children and adults have been admitted to the hospital in recent days with a temperature above 39 degrees, which could not be brought down with medicines. It is assumed that the cause could be the Coxsackie virus, one of the varieties of covid or rotavirus. At the same time, doctors allegedly cannot establish an accurate diagnosis for patients.
However, the Turkish Ministry of Health later denied reports of an alleged mass infection of Russian tourists.
