OREANDA-NEWS The Government of the Russian Federation has submitted to the State Duma amendments to the Tax Code on the indexation by 20% from January 1, 2024 of the state fee for issuing a new generation passport, now the fee is 5 thousand rubles, 6 thousand rubles are proposed.

Amendments were made to the second reading of tax bill No. 448566-8 from the budget package.

The fee for issuing a new generation passport to children under the age of 14 will increase from 2,500 rubles to 3,000 rubles.

A number of amendments also affected duties for foreign citizens living in the Russian Federation. So, for issuing a residence permit to a foreign citizen, the fee will increase from 5 to 6 thousand rubles, for registering a foreign citizen at the place of residence in the Russian Federation - from 350 rubles to 420 rubles, for issuing a temporary residence permit to a foreign citizen or a stateless person - from 1,600 rubles to 1,920 rubles.

For issuing an invitation to enter the Russian Federation to foreign citizens, the fee will be 960 rubles.

The fee for issuing a permit to attract and use foreign workers will increase from 10 to 12 thousand rubles for each foreign employee involved.
