OREANDA-NEWS. The government of the Russian Federation, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has prepared a plan for responding to sanctions, consisting of 100 initiatives, the amount of funding for which is estimated at 1 trillion rubles. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting of the government commission to improve the stability of the Russian economy.
“This is a very flexible document. It will be constantly replenished and released in stages, depending on the development of the situation,” the prime minister said.
According to Mishustin, the plan will allow rebuilding many production and logistics chains, providing enterprises with new suppliers and buyers of products, and Russians with familiar services and goods or a worthy alternative.
Earlier, State Duma Vice Speaker Pyotr Tolstoy announced the development of a third package of measures to support the Russian economy in the face of sanctions. As part of the first two packages of anti-crisis measures, the parliament has already approved 13 documents. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the maximum amount of loans for which Russians can apply for credit holidays. In addition, he instructed the government to closely monitor the situation in the economy and the social sphere and respond quickly, in particular, to prepare another block of anti-crisis initiatives. The Kremlin, in turn, said that "the consequences of the economic war will be minimized."
