OREANDA-NEWS  During the month, the volume of ammunition produced at Russian defense industrial enterprises exceeded the figures for the whole of 2022. This was stated by the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, RIA Novosti reports.

The head of the department stressed that most of the plants maintain "unprecedented in terms of time and volume" schedule plans. However, there are not enough workers for production at the new facilities. First of all, we are talking about working personnel, technical specialists and engineering personnel who are needed for the deployment sites for the production of the most popular models of weapons and military equipment.

According to Manturov, there is now a shortage of more than 16 thousand specialists at agricultural enterprises. "Now they need to provide maximum assistance in carrying out the really difficult tasks that have been set for them. First of all, this concerns the provision of human resources, which our defense industry objectively lacks," he estimated.
