OREANDA-NEWS  British analyst John Lowe, a researcher at the Royal Institute of International Relations in London, called the condition for changing the attitude of US presidential candidate Donald Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin. He told about this in an interview with CNN.

According to Lowe, if he wins the election, Trump will treat Putin worse if he is told about Russia's support for China and China's key role in the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine. "When the advisers explain to him what is really going on, and the fact that China has played a key role in maintaining Russia's ability to continue to lead, he may suddenly feel very acutely that he is not so well disposed towards Putin," says Lowe.

The expert noted that Russia seeks to "limit the influence of the United States in international affairs."

Earlier, American political scientist and international relations specialist Professor John Mearsheimer appreciated Trump's approach to relations with Putin and stated his desire to have good relations with the Russian president. According to the expert, this is an instinctive desire.
