OREANDA-NEWS  Military analyst, head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis Alexander Mikhailov in conversation with Ura.ru he called the advantages of Russian weapons over American ones. According to him, Russia bypasses the United States in the production of hypersonic missiles, as well as air and missile defense systems (air defense and missile defense).

"The first direction is hypersonic. These delivery vehicles were the first to be invented by the Russians, tested, and put into service back in 2018," the expert said, noting that the Russian military has been successfully using them for five years. He clarified that the Russian hypersonic sea-based missile "Zircon" can reach a speed of about nine mach at a range of more than 1,000 kilometers, noting that no American missile is capable of this. Mikhailov also noted that the United States has lagged far behind Russia in the creation of air defense and missile defense systems.

He added that the United States has not paid due attention to the development of its own military-industrial complex (MIC) for decades, while Russia has gradually developed its military-technical capabilities.

Earlier, the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen said that Europe has no evidence that China supplies weapons to Russia. At the same time, she stressed that, despite this, it is necessary to monitor the situation every day.
