OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Tax Service of Russia suspended operations on the account of Google LLC, the Russian affiliate of American corporation.

The information about it is available in the Bankinform database owned by the state agency. In accordance with this document, the decision to suspend operations on Google’s accounts in Citibank was made on February 9 by the Inspectorate No. 5 of Federal Tax Service of Russia in Moscow.

The reasons for the suspension of operations are still unknown. Interfax new agency informed that representatives of Russian office of Google did not comment on the situation, just explaining that it was a “technical problem”.
