Tarnovsky spoke about the role of technology in insurance at Finopolis-2024

OREANDA-NEWS Digital technologies are a key driver of the financial industry, they directly affect business development, says Alexander Tarnovsky, CEO of VSK Insurance House.
The statement was made within the framework of the section of the Fintech Association "Technological Transformation: New frontiers of financial innovation" at the Finopolis 2024 forum.
During his speech, Tarnowski highlighted end-to-end identification as one of the most relevant technological trends in the market. The modern client-centric business model requires fast and unambiguous recognition of the client in order to offer him insurance solutions and service products that meet his needs.
The expert stressed that technology has a direct impact on business development. So, in recent years, the settlement process in auto insurance has been fully digitized in VSK, AI assistants and predictive models based on AI have been integrated.
During the VSS round table "Beware of neural networks: Yuri Detochkin VS artificial intelligence" Tarnovsky noted that it is important to maintain a balance between technology and humans.
"We see how technologies are being introduced that are changing the financial market and transforming the usual customer path. And what was previously only part of a futuristic image has now become a reality – and above all, this concerns artificial intelligence. AI is used everywhere in insurance, speeding up processes, providing a fully digital customer path, helping to predict behavior and make tailored offers to customers," Tarnovsky said.
He added that the main task now is not so much to find completely new technologies, as to learn how to effectively implement and scale existing ones.
"To provide maximum value to the client and at the same time learn how to capitalize on innovations, to make a multiplier of financial results," the CEO concluded.
