OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Education has developed an approximate regulation on the standards of professional ethics for teachers, including the behavior of teachers on the Internet, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the department. One of the paragraphs of the code says that teachers, recognizing responsibility to the state, society and citizens, are called upon to refrain from posting on the Internet, in places accessible to children, information harmful to the health and (or) development of children.
Earlier, Tatyana Kuvshinnikova, a teacher of Russian language and literature, who is a member of the Polar Bears winter swimming club, quit school number 13 in Barnaul because of a photograph in a swimsuit published on VKontakte social network. The school management considered the picture at the hole to be not in accordance with the teacher’s standards of behavior.
The debate about ethics of behavior has been flaring up in society for the first time. A teacher of history left the Omsk school due to a photograph in a retro bathing suit, and in Moscow the contract with a physics teacher who had previously worked as a dancer was not renewed.
