OREANDA-NEWS The President of Russia signed a decree on the launch of a pilot project to change the levels of vocational education. The project starts this year and will last until 2026.
The participants of the pilot are six leading Russian universities: Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), National Research Technological University "MISIS", Moscow Pedagogical State University, St. Petersburg Mining University, National Research Tomsk State University. Their applicants will be enrolled in a new way this summer.
The essence of the "pilot" is the transition of participating universities to a new system of higher education. That is, instead of a bachelor's degree and a specialty, a basic basic education will appear in universities, and a master's degree will become a specialized level for in-depth study of the chosen profile. The third level is postgraduate studies.
