OREANDA-NEWS The Russian air defense system has shot down six aircraft-type drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the sky over the Kursk region. Alexey Smirnov, the governor of the Russian region, thanked the fighters for repelling the UAV attack on the Telegram channel.

Smirnov also reminded citizens that in no case should they touch the debris and immediately call 112 when they are found. "The debris may contain explosives or toxic substances may be applied to them," he warned.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a guided aerial bomb in the Kursk region. The ammunition was destroyed in the border area of the region.
