OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu instructed to equip a fire support robot with a machine gun to carry out assaults in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the military department.

During the verification of the implementation of instructions on the development of robotic complexes for the needs of the Russian Army, the head of the Ministry of Defense was presented with more than 30 promising products from 18 enterprises of the military-industrial complex at the Patriot exhibition center near Moscow. One of them — a multi—purpose robotic fire support complex - Shoigu instructed to retrofit with additional machine-gun firepower.

The Minister of Defense also took a ride on a new light armored car designed for army special forces.
