OREANDA-NEWS. The First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, thanked Russia for the assistance provided to the republic in the fight against coronavirus.

This was announced on Monday by the press service of the Serbian Foreign Ministry following the meeting of the Minister with the Russian Ambassador to Serbia, Alexander Botsan-Harchenko. "Minister Dacic expressed gratitude for the timely assistance of Russian specialists from Serbia in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, which once again confirmed solidarity and traditional friendship between our peoples and countries", the statement said.

The interlocutors also expressed hope that the improvement of the epidemiological situation in Serbia and Russia in the near future will make it possible to exchange high-level visits, the Foreign Ministry said.
