OREANDA-NEWS  In the Aksai district of the Rostov region, security forces detained a 44-year-old Gypsy farmer, Raja Limansky, suspected of using slave labor. This was announced on Wednesday, October 23, by the Telegram channel Shot.

According to the newspaper, the owner of the farm forced 18 people to work for free or for minimal payments. On a daily basis, the victims had to do heavy work in agricultural fields. It was possible to free people after a call from one of the prisoners to the police — they forgot to take the phone away from one of the newly arrived men at the farm. Five people have already written statements to the owners of the farm.

On October 21, employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on the incident.

Raj Limansky has already come to the attention of Russian law enforcement agencies. He was involved in criminal cases of kidnapping and fraud and was on the federal wanted list several times.
