According to him, the possibilities should be considered so that the special military operation does not last forever. "We do this at conferences with the participation of many countries, including at the conference in the Swiss Burgenstock. Even then, we said that the best thing would be for Russia to participate in the next such conference," he said.

Earlier it became known that the German Chancellor plans to hold a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the coming weeks. According to the interlocutors of Die Zeit, negotiations may take place on the eve of the G20 summit in Brazil, which will be held in November. However, Germany has not yet sent a request for a telephone conversation.
