Ryabkov did not rule out a complete break in relations with the United States

OREANDA-NEWS The rupture of foreign policy relations between Russia and the United States is not excluded, but it is not in the interests of the Russian Federation, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in an interview with RTVI on Thursday.
"It depends entirely on the choice that is being made in Washington. I knowingly do not rule out anything in advance, but this, of course, is not our way and not our move. We are pursuing our policy consistently, proactively, and not reactively, including in the American direction, guided solely by our national interests. It is in our interests not to sever diplomatic relations with the United States," he said, answering a question about the possibility of a complete rupture of relations between Russia and the United States.
