OREANDA-NEWS  Abnormally warm weather is expected in the north of European Russia this week. This forecast was announced by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand, reports TASS.

"In the Murmansk region, the temperature will be 6-8 degrees above normal, in the Arkhangelsk region and in the north of the Urals, in Salekhard — 4-6 degrees above normal," the meteorologist said. He added that warmth also awaits residents of the south of Western Siberia: Omsk, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions. There, the temperature during the day will be 4-8 degrees Celsius, and at night — from minus 1 to minus 3.

Vilfand also noted that such a temperature background will lead to the disappearance of snow. By the middle of the week, it will be gone in the European part of the country.

Earlier, Vilfand advised Moscow motorists to change tires. According to the expert, warm weather is expected in the capital in the near future.
