OREANDA-NEWS   The number of vacancies from Russian employers who are looking for staff to work in the Arctic increased by 17 percent over the year (to 497 thousand), and the demand in these regions increased the most (by 64 percent) for couriers. The Arctic zone is located on the territory of nine subjects of the Russian Federation, and four of them are located there completely, the agency reminds. Considering that we are talking about 28 percent of the country's territory, only 1.7 percent of the country's population (2.6 million people) lives in the Russian Arctic.

As noted in the research materials, the rating of the most in-demand professions in the Arctic by the end of 2024 included mainly representatives of working professions. Thus, the demand for drivers who are most often searched for has increased by almost one and a half times, to 40 thousand offers. The top also includes sellers, sales managers, machinists and handymen.

Earlier, analysts of the service called the Amur region the most promising region of Russia for employment at the end of this year, in which there are exactly three resumes for one vacancy. The five regions where it is easier to get a new job also included the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Jewish Autonomous Region and the Belgorod Region.
