OREANDA-NEWS A group of passengers of the cruise liner SH Diana, including Russians, gathered to hold a picket on board. Ilya Strokov, one of the tourists stuck on the ship, told Izvestia about this.

According to the man, the last starving passenger of the liner Natalia, who did not get to Antarctica as part of the Swan Hellenic tour, has ended her hunger strike. At the same time, the company entered into negotiations on reimbursement of costs due to the canceled trip only with her.

"I want to say that, probably, the struggle is not over yet, because other Russian passengers have not received any invitations," the source explained.

Strokov stressed that Swan Hellenic understands only the language of radical measures that its customers are willing to take. At the same time, he added that passengers will act only within the legal framework and have already consulted with specialists on the issue of compensation.

"We were told what opportunities and compensations we should receive under European law," the man said. - I want to inform you, this is by no means the 30 percent that the CEO of Swan Hellenic referred to."

The Russian noted that about 20 people have already signed a pre—trial claim: 12 from the Chinese group and 10 from the Russian one. Moreover, he said that if the company's representatives do not take steps at least to start a dialogue, the travelers will coordinate the picket on the ship with the local authorities.

Earlier it became known that Russian tourist Natalia Litvinova, who staged a hunger strike because of a disrupted cruise to Antarctica, agreed with the organizing company Swan Hellenic. The Russian woman noted that she was satisfied with the proposed conditions, but she did not disclose them.
