OREANDA-NEWS According to the results of the first seven months of 2024, the number of checks of Russians in hairdressers and beauty salons increased by 11 percent compared to the same period in 2023. A noticeable increase in purchases of such services is reported by the Kommersant newspaper, citing data from analysts of the OFD Platform.
In January-July 2023, the dynamics were much weaker. Then the number of checks of Russians in such establishments increased by only 4.5 percent, experts said. As for the indicators of 2024, the number of purchases of such services in Moscow increased by 14 percent. A year earlier, the increase was 4.3 percent.
The OFD Platforms also pointed to the growing interest of Russians in expensive types of services. As analysts explained, this trend has led to an increase in the number of visitors to premium beauty salons. The head of Celebrity salon, Yana Yakovleva, said that the industry is currently showing noticeable growth since the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier, the founder of the online legal aid service Advostar.online, Ildar Mukhametzyanov, said that Russians have the opportunity to receive a tax deduction from cosmetic beauty procedures. We are talking about services that eliminate external defects, not mask them. According to the expert, you can get a tax deduction from cleansing the skin of the face and neck, intradermal contouring, depilation and epilation, ultrasonic peeling and peeling massage, laser skin resurfacing, as well as piercing. At the same time, such services must be performed by a professional in a licensed clinic. Only in this case it will be possible to count on receiving a tax deduction.
