OREANDA-NEWS A storm warning has been announced on the territory of Crimea. The impending danger to the popular tourist region was announced by the press service of the local Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
According to the Crimean Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, from Thursday to Sunday, from June 27 to June 30, an extreme fire danger is expected in the central, western and eastern regions of the peninsula. Rescuers noted that since April 17, a special fire protection regime has been in effect throughout the territory of Crimea. In this regard, they urged the guests and residents of the region to observe security measures.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations recalled that during this period it is strictly prohibited to build bonfires and conduct fire-hazardous work using open fire in forests, natural ecosystems and adjacent territories.
Earlier it became known that the beaches on the southern coast of Crimea, from Oreanda to Foros, were temporarily closed for swimming. According to Yalta Mayor Yanina Pavlenko, a similar decision was made due to a communal accident.
