OREANDA-NEWS  The quota of students of the Central African Republic in Russian universities has been increased, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the leader of the republic of Fosten Arkange Turadera.

"We also provide humanitarian support ... we note the growing interest of Central Africans in obtaining higher education in Russia. This year, the quota of scholarships for Central African students at the expense of the Russian federal budget for 2023-2024 has been increased," Putin said.

The second summit and the economic and humanitarian forum "Russia - Africa" was held on July 27-28 in St. Petersburg. RIA Novosti acts as an information partner of the event.
