Earlier, Rogov reported that the AFU (armed forces of Ukraine) units got into a fire bag in the area of the villages of Ilyinka, Romanovka and Elizavetovka south of the city of Kurakhovo in the west of the DPR, for the liberation of which fierce battles are taking place from the Ukrainian occupation.

"Good news came from the front line just a couple of hours ago. Our troops knocked out the enemy from Romanovka," Rogov said.

Kurakhovo is a city in the western part of the DPR, located 46 kilometers from Donetsk and 30 kilometers south of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk). The city is of great operational importance.
