OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Armed Forces have cleared the Kurakhovo residential area in the Donetsk People's Republic of Ukrainian troops, while finding the bodies of civilians killed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by the Telegram channel Shot.

The channel reports that all 28 victims had bullet wounds, they were in the area controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is also reported that the Ukrainian military prisoners who were forced to surrender admitted their brutal treatment of civilians, explaining this with a similar attitude on the part of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards them. According to them, when Kurakhovo was captured, they were ordered to shoot civilians.

Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on sovereignty, co-chairman of the Coordinating Council for the integration of new regions, said that the Russian Armed Forces had occupied four square kilometers of the AFU foothold near Kurakhovo. He also announced the offensive of the Russian military in the Kontsovka area to the northwest of the city.
