OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Biomedical Agency of Russia has developed three prototype vaccines against the new coronavirus. This was reported by the press service of the institution. It is known that immunogenicity studies with mice have been launched. The results of first trials are expected in June, the second stage of investigation is planned to be completed in the beginning of July.

The state virology and biotechnology research center Vector is also involved in vaccine development. Tests on laboratory animals, including lower primates, have begun there. Considering the results of research, scientists will determine the most promising and safe prototypes. They believe that vaccine will be available for use in the end of the year.
