Previously, he reported that clinical trials of the vaccine would be completed by mid-September.

“Currently, three prototypes of the vaccine against COVID-19 have successfully passed tests for the ability to form an immune response. These are the most advanced drugs in terms of the results obtained,” Maksyutov said in an interview with the news agency RIA Novosti. He specified that about 100 employees are working on vaccines of new generation in the center. According to the scientist, the most important thing is to provide protection from the disease to those who will be vaccinated. “To create a safe drug that can form this defense is the biggest difficulty,” Maksyutov explained.
