OREANDA-NEWS. Russian specialists has developed a medicine for the treatment of a new coronavirus. This was announced by Health Minister Mikhail Murashko at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. “The Russian company has developed a drug that was tested by our colleagues in a number of countries (t is a completely Russian analogue) and produced the first batch for clinical trials. We expect that today it should introduce a package of documents… Preclinical studies will be evaluated in a short time,” he said. Clinical trials of the drug will begin no later than 10–12 days, the Minister added.

He also noted that the Ministry sees the risks of deficiency of certain medicines against COVID-19. “We have set limits on 17 drugs, for which it is necessary to keep the remains under control. And the response to the decline in store is also included in the regulatory mechanism,” Murashko explained.
