OREANDA-NEWS  All the owners of the shares of the Solikamsk Magnesium Plant are not bona fide buyers, and how exactly they acquired securities does not matter. This is stated in the comment of the prosecutor's office of the Perm Region, which was received by RBC.

An audit of the privatization of the enterprise showed that the process was carried out by an unauthorized body that did not send documents on the transformation of the plant into a joint-stock company to the State Property Committee of Russia. Thus, the agency was unable to submit materials for approval to the government, and the property "was disposed of by the Russian Federation against its will."

This circumstance, according to prosecutors, makes it possible to withdraw shares even from those private investors who bought securities on the Moscow Stock Exchange. The shares were freely traded there until October 2022.
