Russian Prosecutor General’s Office Declared Seven Foreign Organizations Undesirable
OREANDA-NEWS. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia made a decision to declare the activities of seven foreign non-governmental organizations undesirable in the territory of the country.
Six organizations from the United States and one from Great Britain are among listed entities: World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong Inc. (USA), Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (USA), Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners Inc. (USA), Friends of Falun Gong Inc. (USA), Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (USA), Dragon Springs Buddhist Inc. (USA), and European Falun Dafa Association (UK).
“It has been established that the activities of these organizations pose a threat to the security of the Russian Federation,” the Prosecutor General’s Office stressed. Information about the decision was sent to the Ministry of Justice of Russia to include these organizations in the list of foreign and international non-governmental organizations, activities of which are recognized as undesirable in the territory of the country.
