An unforeseen situation occurred with a Boeing 737-800 flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg on March 21. Shortly before landing, the crew reported an attempt to illuminate the aircraft with a green laser. At the same time, there was no threat to flight safety.
It is noted that the aircraft commander decided to continue landing. He did not declare an emergency. As a result, the passenger liner landed safely at Pulkovo Airport.
Earlier, the plane of the Russian airline Aurora, which was en route to Yuzhno-Kurilsk, abruptly changed course and landed in another place. The incident occurred with a passenger aircraft flying from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on March 24. During the flight, the crew reported a depressurization on board.
