OREANDA-NEWS The Pacific Fleet frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov made a call at the Qatari port of Hamad. According to the press service of the Pacific Fleet, the ship arrived to participate in the International Naval Defense Exhibition DIMDEX-2024.

"The frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov of the Pacific Fleet made a business call at the port of Hamad in the state of Qatar," TASS quoted the TOPH as saying.

The ministry said that during the exhibition, the Russian warship will be able to be visited by foreign guests who arrived at the event. It is also worth noting that the incoming frigate was met at the pier by representatives of the Qatari Navy and members of the Russian diplomatic mission in this Middle Eastern state. The personnel of the Marshal Shaposhnikov can visit local attractions during the ship's parking as part of the cultural program provided for military sailors.
