OREANDA-NEWS  Strategic aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces will participate in a special military operation in Ukraine in 2023. This was announced by the commander of the Russian long-range aviation Sergey Kobylash.

Earlier, Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylash noted that the crews of the long-range aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces will actively use all the capabilities of automated control systems and airborne precision weapons to deliver powerful strikes against Ukrainian nationalists, and will also work out such actions during training exercises.

According to official data, the long-range aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces includes strategic missile carriers-Tu-95MS and Tu-160 bombers, Tu-22M3 long-range bombers.

Earlier, Kobylash said that all the crews of the long-range aviation regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), which was armed with the Kinzhal hypersonic missile systems, had already mastered it.
